Great To Use as a Cold Frame

I bought this cover to go along with the frame two winters ago and I use it to keep my potted plants in over the winter, as a cold frame where I move my seed starts to before they go into the garden and a storage area to keep my garden hoses and their carts in over winter.

It has survived a few wind storms and during this lastest storm I put a heavier mesh tarp like you would use to cover a load in your pickup or trailer over the top of the "green house" and tied it down to two 10' galvanized pipes that I had laying around to keep it more secure. I think Ill keep this mesh tarp on the green house to shade the plants in the spring because when the sun is really shining it gets pretty warm inside and I can't just run home from work to unzip the doors for ventalation.

This fall I put two 55 gallon barrels in the back corners so they could warm up over the day and keep it even warmer inside overnight. It seems to be working. We are getting tempretures in the teens with the wind chill taking the tempretures even lower, the tempreture inside was above freezing when I checked on it yesterday. I will use the water in the barrels next spring to water the seedlings I put out there to harden up before going into the garden.

I am glad I bought the frame and cover. I wasn't ready to spend the big money for a regular green house and with the way this one is working out I just might get a new cover for it to keep in storage for when this one eventually breaks down.

2x4 easy up greenhouse cover, clear

I have had this product for 3 months and I just love it. It was so easy to install, the zippers and snaps work perfectly, it seems to be very thick and sturdy. I have a small heater in it that I use at night. With temps in the 20s at night, the temp inside stays around 60 degrees farenheight (with the heater). As soon as the sun hits it in the morning it stays around 85 degrees without the heater in 40 degree weather.

Greenhouse

Bought the Frame and Cover. Easy Assembly. Enjoying my new greenhouse very much. May buy a second one. Very fast delivery. Arrived much quicker than expected.
