Well worth the price
By D. Mckinzie
Yes, it's lightweight (it's metal rods and plastic, after all!) and can blow away easily and no, it won't hold very very heavy objects. But it holds a bunch of plants or seed flats just fine, has a surprising amount of room and goes together (for most people) in less than half an hour. I put mine together in 20 minutes, put two bricks on the bottom shelf, four small pieces of a broken marble countertop I had on the second shelf and it was weighted down enough to stay put in most winds. It's housing seed flats for 40 tomatoes and around 20 citrus plants right now and still has plenty of room. It's easy to move around and doesn't take up too much room. The only gripe I have is that the opening on the plastic cover isn't really very convenient to roll up out of the way. But, it's doable and that's my only real complaint.

Product dimensions are incorrect, but still satisfied with this item.
By K. Hudson
This shelf, when assembled is 49" (inches) at the highest point and the sides go up to 43". The three shelves have about an 18" x 26" useable area. The base of each shelf has a relatively thin guage wire, but should be strong enough to support most plants because each has three metal tubes supporting it (one on each side and one in the middle). I found that all pieces needed glue as they fit together tight enough (they would slide apart when moved). I also bent, with my hands, the wire shelves around the supporting tubes on each shelf, to make the shelf base more stable - otherwise they would move back and forth a bit when loading.
The wire shelves and supports are metal, but the connecting sides are made of a relatively heavy duty plastic. Given that I live in Tempe, AZ where summers stay above 110 degrees farenheit for long periods, the plastic sides will probably give out in about 8 to 10 years, but that should be long enough.
I was pleased to see that the dual zipper and plastic cover were heavier duty than I expected. Actually, heavier duty than the display of a larger shelf that I saw in Lowe's right before I bought this one. The display in Lowe's had a broken zipper and looked flimsy. These zippers and the thickness of the greenhouse cover are good enough to do the job.
So, with a bit of glue and some wire bending, it turned out to be a nice "little" green house. Just realize it is closer to four feet tall rather than over five feet tall.

A long winter
By christine p mcgill
I wished I had purchased this years ago. We had a long winter in NE Ohio and I needed something to keep my seedlings going. 15 minute setup in my back bedroom and affixed a Hydrofarm 2ft grow light which I purchased simultaneously. It's a perfect system in a pinch! Tomato seedlings are now outside and I use it now to rehab my indoor plants."
