This works MUCH better than a canning jar for raising sprouts. I generally grow a mix of salad sprouts in it.

Or this for baguettes. Add a pan of water in the oven for the required steam.

There are nicer canners out there (see below) but this works well and is reasonably priced. You don't want to go any smaller!

All you really need in addition to the pressure cooker.

It's a lot of work, and takes up a lot of room when you need to dry the pasta. But this is a classic pasta machine. Many dies are available for different shapes.

Basic wine making kit. Shop around, most brewing shops have a similar kit.

Or a full sized kit.

For a smaller scale coffee roasting starter project, you could try this.

The littlest Cuisinart is excellent for sauces and grinding herbs or chopping nuts.
